The Amplicomms PowerTel 196 is an easy-to-use amplified telephone which is ideal for the hard of hearing or the visually impaired and up to 32 times louder than standard telephones. It is a little different to other amplified telephones thanks to a high-quality, in-built acoustic chamber which maintains sound quality at all volumes, keeping the sound clear without distortion. The PowerTel 196 also features a red LED call indicator light which flashes during incoming calls and a large backlit display with 5 contrast modes which enables those with vision impairments to find the display best suited to their sight.
